The service was particularly attentive, making our stay feel truly special, but
we found the breakfast options somewhat limited, which could be improved. Despite this, we enjoyed the stunning views and the comfortable Shiraz room. The staff were genuinely welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Mont Rochelle offered a stunning backdrop during my stay. The breathtaking views from the Shiraz Room captivated me each morning. Room comfort exceeded expectations, with thoughtful treats in the mini-bar. We enjoyed breakfast at Miko. the buffet had impressive variety and high-quality options. The complimentary shuttle service proved essential for visiting nearby wineries. the lack of consistent staff interaction stood out. There were several different faces at the reception during my stay, which felt impersonal. One evening, I found the service at the pool bar lacked enthusiasm and attentiveness. Though the dining options were excellent, my breakfast experience could improve with more creativity in the offerings. Mont Rochelle is beautiful, but some service aspects could enhance the experience significantly.

Single, Amazing getaway for one

It wasn't inexpensive, but the experience was worth it.

Just a top selection for a weekend stopover in Franschhoek with value for money. The packed breakfast was surprisingly generous with a variety of tasty options. Make sure to schedule time for wine tasting—it’s complimentary!

The rooms were beautifully appointed, particularly No. 19, offering stunning views and a well-stocked mini-bar with welcome treats like bubbles. Breakfast at Miko was a standout, featuring a diverse buffet and a menu of hot options that never left us wanting for more.
While the automatic light in the water closet was a novelty, it became quite annoying, so keep your expectations in check. the decorative wire sheep may add charm, but its placement is a disaster waiting to happen—definitely needs a relocation before it ambushes another guest. the outdoor pool could use some sprucing up. it didn't feel quite as inviting as we’d hoped. We also squeezed in an extra night but still ended up missing out on the wine tasting experience due to an overpacked schedule. If you're looking for something lush, the pool needs an upgrade—just a heads up.
